I'm told that the C is not anymore the native language of
the OS, but now it is C++. Is it correct ?

AFAIK, most Unix stuff is still written in C.  X programs are mostly C++,
though.

Still C AFAIK, but some done in C++ and moving to Java (at a guess).

All the core stuff will still be C for quite a long time I should
imagine.

Last time I looked, almost all of "xc" X11R6 was still C. Many
GUI builders and the programs built using them are C++, though.
