why does 'admintool' hide my 'auto_master' table ?

I _have_ 'auto_home' and 'auto_master' tables on my Solaris2.4/Sparc.
The first one I can access via 'admintool', the second one doesn't show up.
Is this a well known feature I'm not aware of ?
There isn't any difference in file access and I was able to fill
'auto_master' with data (via nispopulate) without any problem.

The auto_home map is taken care of by the user admin tool (if you
check the box).....
