Very Computer

I have been trying to get sendmail 8.6.9 working for several months now
and have had little success. I have tried 100's of sendmail.cf's which
don't work.

We connect to internet with PPP (via a modem) from a Solaris machine
and we have several HP-UX machines internally. We keep getting the
following errors when sending from out hub to another internal machine :-

Did you try with the options suggested by the documentation and
examples ?

The OSTYPE(solaris2) line in your macros (.mc) file will select the
adequate mailers, and particularly the adequate mailer with correct
flags for local delivery.

I think you may find that the problem is your local mail delivery agent.

Try compiling up the mail.local which is supplied for use with Linux,
this might fix things for you....
