Has anyone installed the browser client for Netscape on Solaris? I'm
relatively new to Unix, and I wondered if the suggested directory (?)
structure for Solaris 2.3 given in the install notes is appropriate
for 2.4. There are no guidelines for installing it on the CD. I
un-tar'd the files to a directory I called Netscape, but it would not
work.

Hi, you can find the binaries for Netscape 1.12 at the following
site:

ftp ftp.rus.uni-stuttgart.de /pub/comm/infosystems/www/clients/netscape

They work, have fun with it!
