I had some problems also with this patch. Something about the
install script is not working properly. I was told there is an
existing bugID open on it that will be fixed in revision 10 of
the patch. In the meantime, to hack around it I did the following:
Try to install the patch as usual. It will fail in the way you
see above, but *part* of the system will think it's installed.
Then, go into the part of the directory tree where the packages
are (SUNWmd, etc) and do a "pkgadd -d ." It will completely
replace the disksuite binaries. Not only that, but for some reason
this also updates the rest of the system and shows the patch as
completely installed. When you do a "showrev -p" at this point,
the patch should show up as having been installed.
You have to do this from /tmp as root.
