Is there drivers available for Abit HotRod 100 IDE-RAID card? I'm running
Solaris 8 on an IA32 platform.

I have checked both www.highpoint-tech.com and www.abit.com.tw. I am now
really desperate because i have lots of HDD space available and can't
afford new SCSI-controller and SCSI-disks.

No, there isnt.
But if you want to buy me a controller card, or a motherboard with
one on it, I'll port my driver to it :-)

[My hpt366 driver has hit some snags, but judging by severe cruft in
 drivers for it on other OSs, this is becuase the hardware sucks.
 The HPT370 is a much improved piece of hardware, with less
  (virtually NO) workarounds required. SO if I got my hands on a 370,
  I could officially release something useful from it.]
