We're having the same problem, SunSolve shows BugID 4118738 from 3/13/98
describing this with no resolution or workaround.

1. DHCP vendor class identifier containing blanks

Hi folks,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to configure the Solaris 6 dhcptab
so that the dhcpd will match vendor class identifiers containing blanks
?

I've tried quoting the string, escaping the blanks with backslashes and
various other things.

All the examples I've seen show '.' characters where you might expect a
blank (eg. SUNW.PCNFS.5.1.1 from the dhcptab man page).

Thanks in advance.
