SE3310 - SCSI gross phase/signal error detected SCSI bus reset hapenning randomly

I have the following in my /var/adm/message:

Feb  3 14:05:46 sol     SCSI transport failed: reason 'reset': retrying
command

Feb 14 18:10:03 sol SUNWscsdMonitor[317]: [ID 457922 daemon.error] [SUNWscsd

Check drive seating, cables, and IO module. Replace as required. Redundant
controllers failed to bind.  (Primary, Sat Feb 14 18:09:02 2004) {SN#0041c7}

Feb 14 18:10:03 sol SUNWscsdMonitor[317]: [ID 256293 daemon.error] [SUNWscsd
0x20B1E09: Warning] <rctrl4000> SCSI Bus Reset Issued(Ch:0,Id:0). Check
drive seating, cables, and IO module. Replace as required.  (Primary, Sat
Feb 14 18:09:02 2004) {SN#0041c7}

This happens maybe once every 3-4 weeks and does not seem to be related to
anything (load, etc...)  I have contacted sun and they said to ignore these
messages.

So far, on the UNIX and Oracle side, I get no I/O errors when this happens.
On the safe side, I did a dbverify on my oracle database to be sure there
was no corruption, there does not seem to be any problems.

I was wondering of other SE3310 user are seeing the same thing from time to
time.

I don't really like the "SCSI Bus reset" part of it... I'm feeling uneasy
about that.

1. StoreEdge 3310: Intermittent Gross Phase/signal error detected in /var/adm/messages

From time to time, we get in the /var/adm/messages, that kind of errors with
our StoreEdge 3310 (Dual redundant controller)
This happens approx once a month. That does not seem to cause error at the
OS and ORacle database level, but i'd prefer NOT seeing that kind of
messages. I have tried reseating all that could be reseated and it still
occurs.  Are we alone ?

I logged a call at sun support and they don't seem to know much about the
3310. In esence, they told me that if it wasn't happening more often,
nothing can be done.
