Hi group:

I would like to update my server with solaris 8 to solaris 9. Is there a
wizard to do this?.

I do not to delete my programs and software on my server.

When you start installing Solaris 9, you get options for upgrading
from 8 to 9.

If you are looking for wizards, Solaris webstart might be of some help

You may also want to look at this URL for Solaris 9 'live' upgrade

Take a full backup of all your filesystems before attempting any upgrade.
