Is "fastfs" still relevent on Solaris 8?

I turned on "slow" and "fast" mode when I ufsdump and cp, but
I find no difference.

"fastfs" never had any relevance for "reading" which is what
ufsdump does.  It has relevance for restore.

And for "copy", it only has relevance if you copy many small
files, not if you copy larger files or single files.

(A file create requires 2-3 synchronous disk writes)
