How do you set global TZ on 2.5.x ?

How do you set global TZ on 2.5.x ?

My new system is set for PDT and I'm in new york. The time
is 3 hours off, of course. I dont want to just change the time,
because the TZ is set for PDT, and I want to permanently
make it EST. How is that done? -pat

Take a look at the file '/etc/default/init'.
