Looking for utility to convert encapsulated Postscript -> gif, jpg, tif, etc.

Greetings,

Can anyone suggest a utility that can read escapsulated Postscript bitmap
image files and convert them to a format that would be suitable for input to
Powerpoint?  The preferred platform for the utility is SunOS/Solaris, but I
would also be interested in anything that would do the same thing for OS/2 or
even Windows for that matter.

Thanks in advance.

I read your message in the OS/2 newsgroups, but I trimmed the followups and
newsgroups a bit.

The program I use (and it works great) is a free utility called convert which
can be got from a place called ImageMagick.  I don't know where to get it
from, but I found it on the web.  Try doing a search for ImageMagick.

1. Software to convert postscript >gif, etc

One of my users wants to annotate some plot output from our product.
However, the plot is in postscript format which he can't edit in his
editor. It just shows up as an empty bounding box.

Do you know a way in UNIX to convert a plot from Postscript to some
other format like bmp or gif?

I have lots of stuff that will convert all-most anything to postscript
but the other way around seems to elude me.

Thanks
