Solaris x86 2.5 and the SyQuest EZ-135

Post by Richard W. Harr » Sun, 11 Feb 1996 04:00:00

Hi,

Has anybody gotten their Solaris x86 2.5 machine to recognize and use a
SyQuest EZ-135 drive?  I am speaking of the SCSI version.

Thanks,

- Rick

1. Iomega ZIP or Syquest EZ-135?

I am looking for recommendations concerning the ZIP and/or the
EZ-135 drives.  I want to use this with Linux and do not have a
SCSI card (the Syquest would thus be cheaper).

I would especially like to hear from anyone who has experience with
both drives.  I do know about the ZIP-howto, but have not seen
anything similar for the Syquest.

Any information and/or opinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.....................Greg
