Request For Information - ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE

Post by Archana S. Pras » Sat, 16 Sep 1995 04:00:00

Hi,

I am looking for antivirus software for DOS, OS/2, Windows, Win NT,
Win 95, Netware, Solaris, and other Unix platforms.

Which are the best (whatever that means..) product for these platforms?
I am also looking for a product that has good cross-platform support (like a
one-stop shop) for the enterprise.

This is for a major consulting firm with a number of locations and will
be licensed for a feww hundred systems and multiple LANs.

Thanks in advance.

God save us from major consulting firms which would try to buy and sell
anti-virus software for UNIX.

1. anti-virus software maker 'predicts' increase in 'Linux-based' Viruses !

Talk about using scare tactics to sell product !!

I put this one up there with Network Associates telling people that
the New York water supply was under threat from 'hackers' unless
people bought more virus software. Stock in NA went through the roof !
