1. difference between telnetd and in.telnetd?

i installed rh 7.3 and my telnet file in /etc/xinetd.d looks like this:

service telnet
{
         flags           = REUSE
         socket_type     = stream
         wait            = no
         user            = root
         server          = /usr/sbin/in.telnetd
         log_on_failure  += USERID
         disable         = no

i have telnetd installed but not in.telnetd. what is the difference?

is in.telnetd just a renamed copy of telnetd?

if not, how do i install it?

a google groups search was no help.
