hi,
got a piece of code that its output talks to serial PORT A but not to
serial port B. why not?. how to make it?.

What kind of code?  Assembler?  C?  Shell script?  Perl?  What flavor of Unix
and what hardware?  Can't you change "/dev/ttya" to "/dev/ttyb" or whatever
the serial ports are called in your system?

Just wonder how to connect  V490's serial port to StorEdge 3510's
serial port?
as the serial port on v490 is a RJ45 connection. and the serial port
on 3510 is DB9.  How to connect this two together? What adapter and
