What: USL, SGML and the Movement Toward On-Line Docs
USL has announced that the documentation source files
for SVR4.2 MP, due out this Fall, will be availabel in
SGML markup. USL may also use licensing rights it
acquired in the Novell buyout to provide a browsing
system, as well. The "behind the scenes" events that
lead up to these developments and their possible
significance for the future of UNIX System
documentation will be the topic of this talk.
Who: Ralph E. Ferris, Fujitsu Open Systems Solutions, Inc.
Mr. Ferris is a senior technical writer at Fujitsu
Open Systems Solutions, Inc. (OSSI), a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Fujitsu Ltd. He has been the
chairperson of the UI Documentation Special Interest
Group (DOCSIG) since 1991.

Officially, the address for Bldg 6 is 2750 Coast Ave,
but Coast resembles a driveway, so don't get confused.
Take the Amphitheatre Way exit off Highway 101, turn
left on Garcia, look for Bldg 5, and then the sign for
Bldg 6.
