SOLARIS SYSTEMS PROJECT ENGINEER (MA)               Rate: $35-$50/hour
-------------------------------------             Length: 3-6 months

Urgent need for contractor to come in and functions as SOLARIS in house
technical resource for a communications company.  Software engineer must
have 2 plus years experience in Solaris and/or indepth knowledge of SunOS.
Project port work is done. Need is for senior individual who can work with
development team to functionaly test the software and get it running.

REQUIRED SKILLS:   SOLARIS, C, Design and debug, Functional testing
                   Teach senior software enginners insides of SOLARIS

(Possible opening for simular individual to got to work full time at another
company doing simular project. Salary: 48K-68K).

                                 Systems Administrator/Software Engineer

     The Network Security Department develops system solutions to secure
 communications problems, both for the government and commercial arenas.
 Projects involve public key technology and messaging systems for the
 Defense Message System. This position is a systems administrator/software
 engineer. As the department Systems Administrator, you will be responsible
 for maintaining the department UNIX File Server and workstations as well as a
couple of small private networks used by the department. As a software
 engineer in the Network Security Department, the successful candidate will
 have the opportunity to use his/her 'C' and 'C++' programming skills,
 knowledge or realtime systems, and general systems and networking
 knowledge. In addition, he/she will have the opportunity to learn about
 network security technology including access control, privacy issues,
 X.400, X.500 and application level security on projects of various sizes using
 methodology ranging from rapid prototypes to those employing full 2167A / 498
 development methodology and Trusted Software Development  Methodology.

  B.A./B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or technical field.
 1-2 years experience in UNIX systems administration with knowledge of SUN
 SPARCs is required. Knowledge of IBM PC administration is also a plus.
 1-2 years software development experience with knowledge of 'C' and 'C++'.
 Ability to work with or on a team is essential.
