I'm trying to share directories between a sparc 10 running 2.3 and an
Ultra I running 2.5.1. The directories are on the sparc 10, izzy4.
They are being remotely mounted on the Ultra, izzy5. Here are the lines
share -F nfs -o rw=220.127.116.11,root=18.104.22.168 -d "Users Home Dirs" /usr2
share -F nfs -o rw=22.214.171.124,root=126.96.36.199 -d "sewiv Home Dir" /usr3/sewiv
share -F nfs -o rw=188.8.131.52,root=184.108.40.206 -d "mail spool" /usr/mail
If I try to mount the directories, I get
mountd: NIS: no domain
on the console of izzy4.
I'm not even running NIS.
If I take out the host references in the dfstab, just use -o rw, then it
works fine. I don't want to share them that openly, though.
Can anyone help me here?
