growfs ufs filesystems in root disk volume -- VxVm 4.1

I am trying to grow ufs file system , /opt  which is mounted off 'opt'
volume  (from an encapsulated disk ) on a solris 10 system running
Veritas volume manager 4.1.

First , I used vxresize command to add 1G of space to the opt volume ,
then issued growfs -M /opt <raw device> ....

Even though both these command return succesfully , df -h still retains
the same old values for available space....also  'mkfile 1g testfile'
did not complete successfully either. (had to interrupt this in etween
upon which a ufs filesystem full mesage flashed on me..)

Ideas please..?

Thanks

vxresize should run the growfs for you and increase the size of the
filesystem as well as the volume.

You show no data.

'vxprint -ht <volume>' and 'fstyp -v <fs_special> | head' along with the
exact command line from the 'vxresize' along with output would be
suggested.

Surprising to see the disks d0 d2 are using the same disk id.As a
result I am unable to configure the volumes.Any solution will be highly
appreciated?
