ftpd problem on Solaris 2.6/7

Post by Chee-Wai Yeun » Thu, 25 Nov 1999 04:00:00

Just spotted something funny with in.ftpd for Solaris2.6/7. A user with a
two character login name will, when try to ftp into a 2.6/7 host, will get:

230- No directory! Logging in with home=/

It does not hapeen to SunOS 4.x or even Solaris 2.5/2.5.1.

Please advise how to get around this problem.
