How to use DLPI in Solaris

Does anyone know where I can find a paper from Neal Nuckolls of
Sun Internet Engeneering.  I have the following exceprt from a
Solaris2.FAQ but the nodename is not accessible:

See man page DLPI(7). Try NFSWATCH 4.0 for sample code using DLPI.
        FTP from harbor.ecn.purdue.edu (128.46.128.76, 128.46.154.76):
                pub/davy/nfswatch4.0.tar.Z
        or gatekeeper.dec.com (16.1.0.2):
                pub/net/ip/nfs/nfswatch4.0.tar.Z

Better yet, FTP the paper "How to Use DLPI in Solaris 2.x" by
Neal Nuckolls of Sun Internet Engineering.  It's available from
        newstop.ebay.sun.com in /sun/SunOS5.0/dltest.tar.Z.

Or if anyone has any information or pointers to using dlpi.  Please
reply to me via email instead of the newgroup (or in addition).

Thanks,

I wrote a program (some time ago) that counts the number and type of
packets per second going by on the interface of various types. It works
with both DLPI and NIT, so you can use it to compare the two. Also
I have a proxy ARP written in DLPI, and a program that watches RIP
updates via DLPI or NIT.

1. DLPI in 802.3 mode problem using Solaris 2.1

I am attempting to bind SAP 0xaa on two Ethernet cards through the
/dev/le clone device.  The first bind on the stream attached to
unit 0 works fine, I receive packets in 802.3 mode without
problems.  The second one (which is bound to unit 1) gets back on
the DL_BIND_REQ a DL_ERROR_ACK with error code DL_NOAUTO.  From the
sys/dlpi.h file this means no automatic XID and TEST frames are
supported.  I am not able to see a connection between what I am
trying to do and what the driver is signalling as an error.  What
do have 802.3 frames to SAP 0xaa to do with LLC XID and TEST
frames?  Any clues anyone?
