Hello,
I need to be able to link Fortran code against SunOS 4.1.x libraries
in Solaris 2.5.1. I know of two options - possibly a third.
1) Set up a SunOS 4.1.4 system to act as a "link host". Programs
will run under Binary Compatibility on new Solaris 2.5+ systems.
[Is NIS+ available for SunOS 4.1.4? Where?]
2) I can get the Solaris versions of the libraries. Mucho $$$$.
3) I vaguely remember someone creating a virtual SunOS 4.1 environment
that runs under Solaris. I may be wrong here. Does anyone know
what I am talking about (if it exists)? Where would I find this?
Anyone know of any other options?
Thanks
- Henrik
