I recall many years ago Interactive Unix threw together a simple GUI, which
most of us though was a joke. They had a window with all the commands in bin,
and if you clicked 'cp' you got a dialog with:

command: cp
options:
source:
destination:

I'm sure you can do this in tcl/perl/java/...
