Very Computer

Hi Solaris Experts:

   I'm using Solaris 2.6/X86/DU3.  

   I'm trying to root out the necessary info to get my disaster
recovery procedure together.  

   This Answerbook2 is a joke.  Keeping this dog running long
enough to make four or five queries, to get to the good stuff, is
impossible.  

   When this runs, it's SLOW.  And when it fails, covering, and then
uncovering the display leaves large blank areas.  Clicking on the "-"
or the "File" buttons/menu items causes the drop down menu to be
displayed, but clicking on the close, or quit has no effect.  

   The rest of the display is fine, and I can do work in other
windows, in fact, I composed this, and am sending it with a shell
session using Seyon, while the answerbook is sitting, dead, on my
desktop.  

   Solaris is a rock.  How does someone write an app for it that is
this bad?  

   Is there a patch for this?

   I used this all day today.  Only one crash.  I wouldn't be
proud of that record, but after yesterday, it seemed great.
