Problems with Solaris gettimeofday() or localtime()

Problems with Solaris gettimeofday() or localtime()

Post by Robert Clar » Thu, 09 Mar 2000 04:00:00

I have been tracking down a spurious crash for a while and so far have
determined that it is coming from deep inside of either gettimeofday()
or localtime() (I'll know which in a few days).

My questions (customers at 2.5 and 2.3 see this problem, don't know
about 2.7):

1) Does anyone know of any specific problems with either of these
functions?

2) Where can I find a list of the current patches that are available for
Solaris?

3) Is there some type of knowledge base where I can try to find out more
info?

Thanks,
Bob

See above.

NT tries to do almost everything UNIX does, but fails - miserably.

The use of Windoze cripples the mind; its use should, therefore, be
regarded as a criminal offence.  (With apologies to Edsger W. Dijkstra)

If it ain't analogue, it ain't music.
