Sparc 10/512 with Solaris 2.3 reboots habitually

Post by Gary » Sat, 14 May 1994 21:40:04

  I have a Sparc 10/512 (dual CPU w/cache) with 64MB of memory
running Solaris 2.3 acting as a compute server.  Once every day
or two, the machine will reboot on its own.  This is not good
since most of the compute activity done on this machine requires
  about 3 days to complete.

The error message that comes up on the console says something
about a "Mutex_adaptive_thread" conflict in the Solaris kernel.

I have the patches show below installed.  They are the standard
Solaris 2.3 Recommended Patches from SunSoft.

If you have any idea on how to fix this, I would greatly
  appreciate it!
