NSS_*.so.1 and NSL

NSS_*.so.1 and NSL

Post by Mikael Hu » Fri, 17 Nov 1995 04:00:00

Hi everybody!

We are going to write our own naseservice now. (Linked directly to a SQL
server).

Does anyone have the specs for NSS_* and NSL? (or know where to get them?).

We have come to terms that even tough we are a small Internet provider it
would be easier than dumping from the SQL database all the time, which
also includes the trouble when people wants to change passwords.
Ie change password and then dump, convert to NIS+, etc every time.

Regards

1. NSL and NSS_*

I am looking for the specs on NSL lib and the NSS_* libs.

We are going to make our own lookups for the passwd files. (Right into a
SQL server because of the amount of users). In other words we would like
to make our own NSS_* to plug into the NSL system.

Does anyone have these or know where to get them?
