Can hot spare be added after metadevices were created ?

Can hot spare be added after metadevices were created ?

I could not find the command to do that , in any version of disksuite,
from SUN's document .

Looks like if you did not create the metadevice with hot spare , you
can not add one later .

Does anyone has a way to do so ?

1. Problem with creating hot spare in A1000

   Dear All,

    I've met problem which I couldn't solve..
    I have E420R with A1000 attached. On the A1000 shelf I have 6 disks.
5 disks correspond to RAID5 configuraion. The last disk (located at
2,2 on the shelf) is not used.
All disks are with equal capacity. Here are some outputs:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
noname:/usr/lib/osa/help # drivutil -d c1t0d0

Drives in Group for cl101_001

  Group          Drive List  [Channel,Id]

 Unassigned     [2,2];
 Group  1:      [1,0]; [2,0]; [1,1]; [2,1]; [1,2];
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
nonename:/usr/lib/osa/help # drivutil -i c1t0d0

Drive Information for cl101_001

Location  Capacity   Status         Vendor  Product
Firmware     Serial
            (MB)                              ID
Version      Number
[1,0]     34732      Optimal        FUJITSU MAJ3364M SUN36G
0804         02M48320
[2,0]     34732      Optimal        FUJITSU MAJ3364M SUN36G
0804         02M48261
[1,1]     34732      Optimal        FUJITSU MAJ3364M SUN36G
0804         02M48222
[2,1]     34732      Optimal        FUJITSU MAJ3364M SUN36G
0804         02M48330
[1,2]     34732      Optimal        IBM     DDYST3695SUN36G
S96H         01288PE687
[2,2]     34732      Optimal        FUJITSU MAJ3364M SUN36G
0804         02M46668
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now I want to create hot spare for RAID5 configuration by using [2,2]
drive :

nonename:/usr/lib/osa/help # raidutil -c c1t0d0 -h 22

LUNs found on c1t0d0.
  LUN 0    RAID 5    138771 MB
A drive following the -h option has a capacity smaller
than all drives in the configured LUNs, or the maximum
number of hot spares has been reached.

raidutil failed!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't think that I have met with maximum number of hot spares..
Also I'm using drives with the same capacity, - so I should be able to
create hot spare.
But probably I missed something, - this is my fisrt experience with
A1000 storage box.

Thank you very much for any response!

  my regards,
  Slava Rimdenok
