I just did
boot -r
to install a cartridge tape drive on a Classic running Solaris 2.2.
I was expecting to address the device as /dev/rmt/0* but it turned out
to be /dev/rmt/1*. Why? Are there any "rules" as the the device
numbers chosen? (The scsi target is 4).
