: Don't know if this is related:
: Since upgrading to Sol2.4 and adding rec. patches the following
: message occurs when system comes down (init 0):
: nfs umount:n01:vold(pid 228) Server not responding:RPC:program not
: registered.
: Before bringing system down vold is alive and well with pid 228. Also,
: problem was not present after upgrade before patching.
: (env: Sol2.4, standalone SS10/51, only DNS - no NIS+)
I'm pretty sure that it is related....I'm also getting that message when
the system comes down. So, the problem may be related to one of the
rec. patches?
Thanks for the response, I think I may go back to 2.3 and then retry the
upgrade. Unfortunately, I didn't save the original files when I added the
rec. patches, so I can't back them out :-(. Then I'll try to isolate
which patch is causing the problem.
Thanks again,
Mike Weber
