You have run out of temporary disk space that pkgadd needs to unpack the
datastream format package; by default this is in /var/tmp, you can
change this by setting the $TMPDIR environment variable to a location
where there is sufficient space.  At a minimum you need the size of the
package.

1. pkgadd ERROR: unable to create governing lock file

Hello there,
does any one have any suggestions as to what's the workaround here?

I have 2 machines on nfs. In order to add a package to the 2ndmachine
from 1stmachine I'm running following as root:
$pkgadd -d $SOURCE -R /net/2ndmachine

NOTE:
1stmachine - Solaris7
2ndmachine - Solaris9

I'm getting a following error:
pkgadd: ERROR: unable to create governing lock file
</net/2ndmachine/var/sadm/install/.lockfile>.

Any ideas how to get around this one?

Thanks a dozen in advance,
Julia.
