Need help, need to add new /etc/rc script

Hello,

I need a short refresher on how to add a script to the /etc/rc set of
directories. I want to have our web server start up automatically after
the system reboots. We are running Solaris 5.5.1 on a Spracstation 10.

Any help, tips, and pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Elton,
an easy way to do this very quickly copy the /etc/rc2.d/S80lp script to

/etc/rc3.d/S99webstart

Strip out all the rubbish in the case statement.

In the start option of the case type in the command you

would normally use to start your webserver save the file

and try starting the webserver manually by typing something like

/bin/sh /etc/rc3.d/S99webstart start.

If you need me to go into more detail email me and I will give you

further help.

Regards

Rob.
