I have horrible timing. I bought SunNet manager 2.2.3 just before
3.0 (or whatever the new version is) came out. I must say that I
am VERY disapointed in this product. The best info on working around
the problems I can find on sunsolve is "don't do that on key machines".
To me this defeats the purpouse of the product. It looks like sun
is not going to do any bugfixes for this. Is the new version any
better?

Is this new version the same as "Solstice Domain Manager" ?

Actually Solstice Site Manager and Solstice Domain Manager are just new
names for packages that contain SunNet Manager. The SunNet Manager is the
main part and is still called SunNet Manager. I have found a bit more info
since I posted this. The new version was supposed to be 2.3 but it was
recalled just after release since it was buggy - of course 2.2.3 is also
buggy so this one must be REAL bad. Sun evidently is trying to be quite
about this since their web page shows 2.3 as being the current version.

I may be wrong about this (the fact that it was recalled - not the fact that
it is buggy). Does anybody have different info?
