Very Computer

Hi folks,

Has anybody here successfully upgraded his
SunPCi card from the 300Mhz CPU to one with
more speed, without buying the new 400Mhz
version of the SunPCi card :-) ?

Yes, I tried to buy an 400MHz AMD processor, but they were not
available anymore, anyhow I spent an afternoon with my Ultra60 and
and AMD K6-II 450MHz.

I came up with this chart:
(note, the best you can hope for with a 450MHz CPU is probably
 83MHzx5.5=456MHz)

Good luck, I've had no problems so far, and btw, the BIOS won't report
speeds above 400MHz which got me confused for awhile.
