There is a concept of mount point in the Unix mount command.

mount -F nfs -o rw, hard server:/usr2 /usr2

Which portion of the above command  is the mount point , first or second
/usr2 ?

mount options /diskpartition /mountpoint
mount options /logicalvolume /mountpoint
mount options /remotefilesystem /mountpoint
