ipchains / 3rd party IP Tunnel

We are using Nortel/Bay Networks "Extranet" software to access the
corporate intranet (totally NT shop) and most of us have cable modems.
I can get the stuff to work from my "server" on a W98 partition but I
can't do the same on a W98 laptop behind ipchains (remote host not
responding).

I added a bi-directional rule to ipchains to open up a hole for the
remote host only:

" ipchains -A eth0-in -s www.xxx.yyy.zzz -p all -b -j ACCEPT "

but still can't get the laptop to work.   What am I missing?
