eth0 is my external facing card and eth1 is my internal lan card. eth0 is
going through a router and is NAT'd into a internet facing address.
I have squid for httpd (chat works fine in html mode)
socks 5 for sockets,
ipchains for ip forwarding
my ipchains command is
"/sbin/ipchains -A forward -s 10.11.216.0/24 -j MASQ &&"
At the moment I start yahoo chat and it launches and then kicks out with an
internal server error, please try back in 1 minute message,
what do I have to do for my clients to use yahoo chat. if I am on the
gateway console yahoo chat works well.
I am using redhat linux 7. with kernel 2.2.16-22
Many thanks,
Matt.
ps please also check my 3com problem out in this group if you are up on
hardware or networking.
