Just got cable modem working (so far so good).  Can someone recommend a
free firewall product(s) for linux?  running SuSE 6.2 (2.2.10).

I have a PII/233 w/128mb ram.

thanks.

I'd recommend the newer netfilter/iptables; not only is it more recent and a bit more versatile, but
its syntax is a bit easier to understand (to me, at least).

In addition to Bastelle and ipchains you might want to take a look at
pmfirewall as well.  It can be found at: http://www.pmfirewall.com.
