Hi Jared,

Quote:> what package has the http daemon with it for mandrake 7.2?

The httpd daemon which is dispatched with Mandrake 7.2 is apache and it can be
found in the following files:

mirror     380292 Oct 24  2000 apache-1.3.14-2mdk.i586.r
mirror     196190 Oct 24  2000 apache-common-1.3.14-2mdk
mirror     121714 Oct 24  2000 apache-devel-1.3.14-2mdk.
mirror     510002 Oct 24  2000 apache-manual-1.3.14-2mdk
mirror     672579 Oct 24  2000 apache-mod_perl-1.3.14_1.
mirror     141795 Oct 24  2000 apache-mod_perl-devel-1.3
mirror      23415 Oct 24  2000 apache-suexec-1.3.14-2mdk

And of course it has a few modules that come with it as well.

See ya

Dean Thompson

1. KDE 2.1 rpms for Mandrake 7.2 ?

good question -and it shouldn't need to be asked! Mandrake do not appear to
be placing much importance on getting the updates out to us; they are
concentrating on work on version 8 of distro. It is not good. If KDE 2.1 is
a good an upgrade as people who have it say it is, then Mandrake should put
off version 8 for a day and get 2.1 to us. Even a planned date of
availability would be nice!
