is there a program out there for windows that would allow me to connect
to a linux box and run xwindows?? the 2 boxes are connected via TCP/IP

Does anybody know if there're any other softwares beside VNC that allow
linux to connect to windows and run windows applications?

1. How Do I Make One of Those Cool Console Messages Windows?
I have seen many screenshots on the Window Manager themes sites that
appear to have a console window with log messages in it, but there is no
frame, scroll bars, or title bars around the console window. It appears
to be built into the root window.
How do they do that?
