I can ping the windows box from linux box and the linux box from the windows
one, HOWEVER I cant get the windows box to see out to the internet at all.

Anyone know of a good source to just use something generic to correct this.
The windows box is windows ME and was working great when both pc's were on
ME.

You can setup Linux as a gateway using IP Masquering, or you can setup
the Linux as a proxy server. In both case, you need to re-configure
Windoze box with an appropriate setting.
