3c509B problems on OpenLinux 2.3

Post by LARSmit » Thu, 11 Nov 1999 04:00:00

I installed OL 2.3 on a Dell Dimension P75t with 16M or RAM and a 1.6G
HD.  I started from Win95 to install OL 2.3.  I took the option to have
OL totally take over the 1.6G drive and installed everything the CD had
to offer ( standard install ).

Now that the software is up and running, when I boot, it takes FOREVER
to go from the login screen till I get to KDE AND during the boot
process, I see a "fail" status beside the 3c509B.

What can I do to rectify the two problems ?

Sincerely,
