help: get compaq contura internal ethernet card running

Post by a910491 » Sat, 07 Oct 2000 04:00:00

Hi folks!

My Contura 420C runs Linux very nicely (or the other way round), with one
exception: I can't figure out how to get the ethernet card working that is
available through the docking station.

Compaq calls the device 'contura internal ethernet'.

Any Ideas?

Thanks, Martin

1. Linux on a Compaq Contura 3/20 with a Microlan parallel port Ethernet adaptor ?

Well, subject says it all :)

Does anyone if it is possible to install Linux on a Compaq Contura 3/20 with a
Microlan parallel port Ethernet adaptor ?

I am using it now with a packet driver on int 0x60 in combination
with Kermit (set port tcp).

Oh yeah: it's got only 60 megs HD, but I don't really care for X.
