lpr and netatalk: proplems with ifpap

Hi,

we are having problems trying to run our Apple
LaserWriter from a Linux Server (Suse) using netatalk
1.5.0. The AppleTalk daemons are running correctly,
and printing via the "pap -p prntername file.eps"
command works fine. However, printing via the lpr
command does not work. Instead, we are getting the
following error from ifpap in our messages log file:

Jan 16 17:31:19 pc-c ofpap[10914]: starting for ?
Jan 16 17:31:19 pc-c ofpap[10914]: sending to
pap[10915]
Jan 16 17:31:19 pc-c ofpap[10914]: straight text
Jan 16 17:31:23 pc-c ofpap[10914]: 10915 done
Jan 16 17:31:23 pc-c ofpap[10914]: pausing
Jan 16 17:31:23 pc-c ifpap[10916]: Too many arguments
Jan 16 17:31:23 pc-c lpd[10913]: Six: job could not be
printed (cfA035pc-c)
Jan 16 17:31:23 pc-c ofpap[10914]: restarting
Jan 16 17:31:23 pc-c ofpap[10914]: done

and this is our printcap:

Six|AppleLaserWriter:\
        :lp=/dev/null:\
        :sd=/var/spool/lpd/sixpack:\
        :sh:\
        :sf:\

        :lf=/var/log/six-errs:\
        :if=/usr/local/sbin/ifpap:\
        :of=/usr/local/sbin/ofpap:

can anyone help? Thanks!

1. lpr/netatalk problem

I am having a bit of a problem with lpd and netatalk.  I
am running RedHat 6.1, with a laser printer hooked up to a
Win95 machine.  I can print just fine from Linux, but I also
have a Mac hooked up via netatalk which is supposed to be able
to print to the laser printer (and it used to work under 6.0)
but every time it prints, I get an error, saying that

Your printer job (Netscape: iTools setup)
was not printed because it was not linked to the original file

I have the following line in my papd.conf
rlbl5p:\
:pr=lp0:op=masplund:pd=/etc/atalk/hp4mp6_1.ppd

where lp0 is the spool for the laser printer.  I am not sure
where to go next.
