In reviewing my maillog I noticed the following message:
Sep 17 20:56:40 hostname sendmail[4304]: alias database
/etc/aliases.db out of date
Sendmail is working, but how do i fix this problem?

I have to use autoresponders in my linux box, and I've tried to use a
pipe as the destination address in /etc/aliases:
and this works perfectly.
But when I try and do the same in /etc/maildb/domainaliases (my virtual
mail database):
I get: "server error:cannot send mail directly to a program"
Why????????
