Redhat rc networking files

Redhat rc networking files

Post by Alexander O. Yuri » Sun, 11 Feb 1996 04:00:00

: I have Redhat 2.1 and have been trying to set up PPP with ISP. However, I
: can't seem to find the networking rc files in my system. Does anyone have
: the same problem?
: P.S: they're typically called rc.inet1,rc.inet2 or just

Incorrect. RedHat uses full SysV style /etc/rc.d i.e. you need to edit a
file in /etc/rc.d/init.d/ and put symlinks to it from files that define
appropriate run-levels.
