Peer is not authorized to use remote address - PPP problem

Peer is not authorized to use remote address - PPP problem

Post by news » Tue, 05 Sep 2000 03:42:29

Could not find anything in the docs or faq, so I hope someone out there has
had the same problem.

Redhat 6.2 system dials in to ISP, gets autheticated correctly, goes into
ppp and then my side does not accept the ip-addres of the remote side "Peer
is not authorized to use remote address"

Tried all options like noipdefault, 0.0.0.0:0.0.0.0, ipcp-accept-remote,
ipcp-accept-local, without succes.
complete debug output:

I suspect some configuration of linux does prevent accepting the remote
address but have no idea where to look.

Thanks for your input,

I'm trying to connect to my ISP using dial-up modem on RH6.2. But the PPP
server always kick me off. Here is my log:

Do you have any idea why? Note that I had ever been able to connect to
