Why my broadcast address is 255.255.255.255?

My IP is acquired from a DHCP server.

With ifconfig, I found this interface for internet has the value
"Bcast:255.255.255.255".
Why?

Because your DHCP server and/or your PC is horribly misconfigured.

I suspect that something has been configured incorrectly on your DHCP server.
Do you operate the DHCP server or are you getting your IP address from a third
party DHCP server that you have no control over ?
