General Protection, Fonky messages from kernel

Hey gang...

Recently I had to downsize my ISP and have slammed one ppro machine with
quite a few tasks including httpd, https, sendmail, named, mysql, etc...
it's overloaded in my opinion but has been limping along pretty
well....   I was seeing some messages about httpd puking but had since
recompiled apache and all had seemed well until this morning....

The machine was locked up, fully.  Here is what was in /var/log/messages
upon reboot:

---------------8<-----------------------

The machine is handling 50+ virtual hosts, and I have tweaked apache to
start as many servers as possible, etc.  The amount of traffic on this
machine is substantial, but not more than it should be able to handle...

Anyhow, here's all info I can think of which may be pertainent:

RedHat 5.0, got all the upgrades and fixes
Apache version 1.2.5
PPro 200Mhz with 192MB ram / 8G Wide scsi / adaptec 2940UW controller
libc version 5.3.12

Any help or even suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks gang!  Please cc my email address as well so I don't miss the
post on accident... thanks...
